Strange, what year was it? You have anything done to your car? I think they have like 300 horsepower at most, more than likely 260-280. A catback isn't going to get him very good hp gains. You should have ate him.

They're quick, I would go for a rematch if I were you...
I lost 2 out of 3 to one, the last race was the best start for both of us and I held his front at my fender all the way until 70.
I've got a stock six-banger, is your car running ok? lol.

If it's a newer model it looks like they are adecent match up for a stock LT1 Camaro. Rated at 270hp and run the quarter in 14.8. Some stock LT1's can get into the lower 14's even high 13's, but it takes a good driver and good running car. Maybe he just out drove you. Your also comparing a car that's at least 10 years old to a much newer car. If your car's got some wear on the motor I could see him taking you. Do full bolt-ons and you should be able to take him.

No offense, but do you by any chance have bargain tires rather than really sticky, high-wear/high traction tires?
They are pretty damn quick, but I would still expect you to take him, particularly off the line.

technically we did 2 runs, one was at like 20 and we went off, he just has too much acceleration, he has a 2005 model, the second run was pretty good up to like 70 then he started to pull away... we went almost up to 105 and couldnt pass him...

the first number is higher than his lt1,a nd the range is right where hes at. making it around a drivers race (i dont think the altimas are too terribly heavy). now, i know the maxima has an R version, does the altima have a 3.5R with the sc?
