Tonight i was fing around with a buddy that has a 92 5.0. Keep in mind i have a 94 v6 5 speed with the mods listed below. We were i guess... road racing around neighbor hoods, and i knew i would KILL him in the corners, which i did, but i figured he'd pull away in straights, but he didnt! I stayed on his *** the whole time! I thought that was pretty sad on his part, and kinda fun on mine.

 

So you kept up with him, how is that a kill?Plus it would have been even more fun if some little kid walked across the street in front of you while road racing through the neighborhood. At best your mods might give you 10hp, but I'm probably overestimating. I'm not tryin to be a **** and am all for a Stang getting killed by a Camaro, but road racing through a neighborhood just isn't cool.

 

was it a mustang or camaro 5.0?

matt is right about the racing in the neighborhood... not cool

resist the temptation, or wait till you hit open road and are not surrounded by parked cars and kids.

 

I agree on the road racing deal, so not cool. I've seen a couple of TA's and camaros spin out into oncoming traffic causing pretty bad wrecks.

 

I didn't even think about the factit could be another Camaro, usually when I hear 5.0 I just think Mustang.

 

I agree on the neighborhood racing, save that crap for wide open road or don't do it all. Its just too dangerous

 

Grow up and stop giving us Camaro owners a bad name.

 

Seriously, In a neighbor hood? I have road raced before on street tracks but they have all been way out in the woods and in the middle of the night. Its not fair for you to put innocent peoples lives in danger just for you to have a little race. You realize that your driving a 1 1/2 ton peice of metal driven by a series of explostions going 10 times faster than god intended you too....

If you gunna race be smart. And like matt said, the 3.4 came stock w/ 160hp aginst a stang that came stock with 225hp and accully weighd a little less. I just dont belive it.

 

this was about 11 o'clock. NO KIDS!!! i do understand what you guys are saying. it was a mustang... but my car is way nicer the his... from teh factory yea... he would be faster, but they arent that new. just telling you guys about my experience, dont have to be ****s!

 

and we did race straight on a wide open road, not in a neighborhood... and i did beat him. The factof this story is... camaro v6 vs. mustang v8( a ****ty one... but still) i figured i would get killed but i didnt. I'm pretty proud that i beat a mustang! This was late at nite but racing on a straight shot isnt much safe, in fact you're going FASTER, so it'sdangerous either way, but we all do it from time to time! Sry and thanks for reading.
