Whats the Cobra putting to the ground. When I was shopping for a fun car, I had my mind made up on a 03-04 Terminator, but they were still over $30,000 locally. I ended up buying my Stang for $25,000. I have several dealerships in the area looking for an 04 Mystic Cobra. I am thinking they should be coming down in price quickly as the new Cobra hits the market and people start trading them in!! (I am hoping anyway, lol)

 

Bad thing about 4th gen Camaros is everyone knows that they are *** kickers. You could never have a sleeper 4th gen, lol. When I was watching another SRT get dynoed out in OH (he put down 420ish to the wheels BTW), we did it at a shop that specialized in 4th gen's. They had a 2001 Black twin turbo car they were tuning (they couldn't get it tuned right, they had spark plug issues, and everyone knows how fun of a job THAT is, lol) but even with the spark blowout, they were making 725ish to the rear wheels, which is impressive, don't get me wrong! I plan on being close to 600 on the race tune with my SRT. That's a 4 cylinder with 1 turbo, and no-one will ever see it coming. That's the fun of the SRT. My Stang is my poon-mobile, nothing more, nothing less. Well, it is still more fun to drive than the SRT. RWD>FWD every time!! But the SRT, that's the "I can't believe a Neon just whooped my ***" car. Fun times.

 

yea i know what ur saying thats why i bought a VW GTI VR6 but i couldnt stand front wheel drive its boring lol even if it is fast i got some work done and **** made it faster and faster then i was like i rather have my 3rd gen camaro back that was slower jsut cuz it was more fun to drive i cant afford a bunch a new truck for everyday driven and a camaro for fun thats my life for right now

 

Damn I haven't put it on a Dyno since I got Dyno tuned but it put down 478RWHP & 451RWTQ...

Edit:Oooops check with my tuner today and it was 481RWTQ not 451RWTQ (Ithought that didn't sound right)[8D]...

 

So close to the magical 500/500 club. That's the great things about Cobras. Yep, they are as expensive as hell, but man are they made for constant abuse, and they handle cheap mods VERY well. Terminator Cobras=Yummy!!

just reading this thread i got mad like 5 times, no we dont have mullets, yes the camaro is going to come out and kick all ***, and yes this forum is alive and doing great, just because everyone and theyre mom has a stang and wants to be in mustang forums doesnt mean its any cooler of a place.

my buddy's SRT4 pushes high 10's, and he doesnt go around beating people and going ooooohhhhhh i bet that hurt and rubbing it in, he just knows he has a fast car and it makes him some money, and people like him and respect him for that.

Ever notice though that I only am responding to others and I rarely start anything? Notice how people just bash me and that's the only time I get keyboard commando syndrome? The mullet comment never came until the Rustang started (or maybe it was after an SRT bash, I can't remember). And as for buying that kid A-it was a joke (obviously, and I thought it was pretty funny) and B-he attacked me personally (not my cars mind you. Me!), not my cars, but me.

What all does your friend have into his SRT to make it run 10's?? There are only 2 in the nation that are street driven, so I would know his car (or screen name) if I saw it, as I am obviously up on the SRT scene. And why wouldn't he rub it in?? Isn't it fun to run a Z06 in a 4 door econobox and beat it? Isn't it about the ONLY reason someone would want a fast Neon? I mean it's not a high class poon mobile or anything, womens panties don't get wet at the sight of an SRT-4. It's a semi-sleeper, and when you beat a $80000 car, it's just great to rub it in!!!!

 

And as far as bigger and better and faster. There is always that, but if I can beat 90% of the cars I see on the street, I think there's some bragging rights there. When 89/383stroker gets his car back on the road, he will be in bragging territory also. Until then, I will forever remind him that the Mustang beat him badly the only time we have raced. Of course he only had 1st and 2nd, but hey, a win is a win, and we haven't had a rematch, so the Mustang still holds the title. Actually the SRT does, as it beat him fair and square. Badly. And that was when I still had the stock turbo on the car. (it now wears a G35)
