Default 3.4 vs. Z28

Well, I'm a 16 year old with a lowly 3.4 V6, not bad for a first car, I love it! It's not the quickest thing out there, but those lovely ricers don't stand much of a chance.

So, it's around 1AM, me and a few buddies are leaving the bowling alley, get stuck at a light around town headed homeand a pretty nice Z28 pulls up next to me and starts revving, light turns green, pulls a nose ahead, drops back beside me, from the looks of his car, I knew he was going to leave me in a cloud of his dust, but, I wanted to see it run, so, as soon as he gets beside me a second time, I drop it down into 2nd (automatic), and punch it, we get up to about 70, car shifts to third, he's roughly 3 lengths ahead of me and pulling extremely fastnow, and as soon as my baby shifted into 3rd, his car backfired or something, shot smoke/flames out of themuffler and had smoke billowing out of the hood, felt bad for the guy, but I cruised by him at 80 +1 for me, by sheer luck, damn that thing was quick!

Serves him right for picking on someone that can't fight back. It is not too bad if you blow the engine trying to catch somebody, but it is embarassing if you blow up while in front. LOL

talk about david and goliath, it would have been better if it was a ricer instead of a z28 though

RIP Z28...poor thing. That's why you don't pick on the smaller guys. You have to let them start picking, then rip them a new one!

nice win, but that sucks for the other guy, did you happen to try and see what happened with his car, give him a lift or anything?

Nah, it was 1am, I was more worried about getting myself some sleep, had to work at 8am the following morning, we were less than 3-4 blocks from a gas station, else I probably wouldl've stopped.
