1988 Iroc 5.7 tpi vs. 2006 Honda Accord. Both stock, what are my chances? Both auto. He's just another cocky kid who's asking for a race. Thanks guys for any info i appreciate it.

 

what engine in the Accord?? if it's the 4 banger, you'll take him pretty easily (if you can lauch it well). the v6 will give you a MUCH harder timem in the top end at least. is this from a dig or roll??

 

Be from the dig. And i dont have back seats so i'm not exactly stock, i put in some corbeau cr1s. I have no idea what's in the accord. I doubt the kid knows how to drive though.

 

if hes got the 4 cly hes toast if hes got the 6 its got 244 horsebut no torque and all spining to one front wheel and a bunch of heavy inteior so either way the camaro should take it...

 

Alright thanks man. I appreciate the info. Should be 2-0 after this one then. First kill this summer was a 98 stang gt 5 speed man. trans. That was a fun race between friends. This one will be more satisfying.

i wouldn't call 211ft/lbs no torque. and don't forget nick that the TPI doesn't like top end, it's a low-mid range torque engine.

i say the Camaro has it on the bottom end, but the Accord should start reeling him in up top. i forgot to ask, coupe or sedan for the Acoord??

now if it was a new Accord, you'd get him off the line, but he'd real you back in quite quickly (271hp > 245hp)
