So i just saw this bad *** 99' lightning and it completly smoked my friends 00 ls1 camaro. Anyone know what they can run in the 1/4?

 

That one was probally modded. I think they run 14.3 in the 1/4 stock, but i might be wrong.

 

yeah mid 14s is about par for a stock lightning, but as for what they CAN run...there is one at my track that is street legal and appears stock acceptfor rimsand has a best pass of 11.20 but this isn't near what they are capable of.

 

supercharged 5.4L SOHC right? id think they can be fast as ***** if modded. i also think they are forged similarly to the cobras

 

Anything can be fast if you have enough money lol. Ya they have the sc 5.4 And most people dont keep them stock

 

Yea i just talked to the guy and he is far from stock. he has intake, full exhaust, chip, pulley, 4.10, and a kenne bell 2.3 supercharger to top it off. Says he runs mid 11s on his drag tires. Funny thing is when he beat us he was spinning all threw 1st and half way threw second and he still smoked us.

 

Ya i would love to own a fast truck. What mods did the camaro have?

 

It's just a stock 6-speed for now. He just got it like a month ago and is trying to pay it off before he mods it.

 

i want a fast truck soo bad too, SRT10 is deff my fave truck, and theyre fast as ****ting diahrea too[&:](good analogy)

i would LOVE a fast jacked up truck tho.take one of those trucks out of 8-lug anyday!

 

Maybe the 2-door ones, but the 4-door ones weren't that fast.
