This guy in a black 07 Mustang GT pulls up next to me at a gas station and says you wanna race that piece of ****. I killed himoff the line and he didnt pull on me till I started to brake. I just thought it was great cause he called my a car a piece of ****. Oh by the way my car is a 94 Z28 with a K&N cold air intake.

Yea, even if he did he has a car with 300 HP and is brand new. The Z28 had 275HP plus it is over 10 years old. Its possible that you beat him, but really, your story is very plain and has no details.

Sorry I dont buy it, if you gunna post a kill story have at least a detailed story or circumstantion proof.

 

Sorry but the GT is almost 300 to 400 pounds heaver than the Z28. The Z has low in kick that the 4.6 3valve lacks. Stock for stock the LT1 can get a jump out on the GT. I think it pulls 1.8 1.9 60 times. With that being said the stock GT runs low 14s around the same times as a stock LT1 runs at the track. The fact he said he killed him off the line he could have.

 

Sorry, I almost never see you post wrong info on here. But in reality the SN197 GTs can run 13s stock pretty easily. And now that the LT1s are all over 10 years old I see alot of them run low 14s.

Like I said, its more than possible for an LT1 to beat a new GT. But the guy comes in & post 3 sentances about a race without the slightest detail about the race or the cars. Im just not that guilible i guess...

 

Its true there are some good drivers that can pull off high 13s but most have a problem breaking the 13s. Most stock GTs run in the low 14s even with a expert driver in the 5 speed its hard to pull 13s. And thats giving the guy can drive. I guy that goes to the track with me he has a 2005 with K&N intake, Headers, BBK cat H pipe, SLP catback, And tuner on stock 245s the best i have seen him pull is a 13.7 the worst a 14.1. I ran a near stock 5 speed 2006 he was runing 14.2s. Yes the car can do it but 9 out of 10 drivers cant. The GT is week out of the hole even with a good driver. It could happen. I hear what you are saying too.

 

He forgot to mention he gutted the cat. That's how he won.
