prolly the vette wins, but thats if the guy knows how to shift and it will be very close, but i think he has you by a fender

 

Hmm.. wasnt the vette built more geared towards road racing; rather than, straight line racing? Correct me if im wrong but stock ls1 vette isnt that impressive in the 1/4

 

They are prett good in the 1/4 and stock for stock, year for year are faster then the F-body. But no so much that a few bolt ons won't cure.

Ok I have an 02 SS with exhaust and air lid and I raced a friends 03 Vette he is bone stock. I have a 6 speed obviously and he is an auto. I won by 1/2 car up to 0-90 then we stopped. If you don't spin badly or at all then I will say you win because he will spin on street tires and therefore cutting his throttle off (curses you ASR).
