yeah a couple friends both m6 cars, just the stang actually amazed me
A $12,000 8 year old car beat a $40,000 1 year old car, and you're impressed with the stang?

Sorry brother there is no way a Mustang costs $40,000. A GT500 can be had for the $42,000-$44,000 range. I paid $24,500 brand new for mine.
The MSRP on the 08's is what, like 29k? The dealers still jack that price up a couple grand. Then your looking at a ****ty *** interest rate with taxes and all the licensing fees, etc. I'm sure most people buying them now end up paying about 35 grand when all is said and done. I was being generous with the 00 trans am too, you can pick one of those up for 6 grand not 12
You're sounding like a Fanboi. No, MSRP on 08 GT's are 26,240 and invoice is 24,186. Look stuff up before you speak. If you look online on like autotrader.com or something, you can find 07 GT's selling used with under 20k on them for 21,000 easy.

When I was looking for cars at the beggining of the summer I could have picked up a WS6 with 92k miles for 7.5 (That was at a dealer as well). Instead i went with my camaro with 104 for 5.5. 12 grand you could probably pick one up with 40-50k miles.

And to whoever the guy was telling me to look my **** up, do this. Go into a dealership and tell the guy you will buy a brand new 08 GT for 25 grand out the door, and then don't post again after he laughs in your face. Your looking at low 30's at best if your financing, and mid 30's the norm. Were we talking about a used 2007?... no. We are talking about a NEW, hint the title, NEW, mustang. Don't bring points that are irrelevant to the discussion, it just makes you look like more of an idiot. Unless you have 28-29k cash to spend, your paying low to mid-30's for that car. Add another 6-7k onto that if your getting a convertible.

Spec was making light of the fact that you said the fully loaded GT runs into the low 30's. 30's being a 1/4 mile time instead of a price. It was a joke. [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]
