This was taken at an old abandoned local racetrack called Meadowdale International Raceway. It was a 3.27 mile road course, and some big names used to race there. Unfortunately, the track closed down back in 1967 after being open for about ten years. It's part of preservation property, and currently some of the pavement is still there, but well grown over. Some of it has been reduced to walk path size, dirt, or gravel, and one part even washed out and became a 30 foot deep ravine. There is a yearly gathering, and it's a trip to walk the course and see all the vintage race cars that raced there at the time. Where the cars are parked is what was the straightaway, and it doubled as a dragstrip. Next to mine is my brothers pretty much stock 68 ragtop.

i see whats more than likely a grand sport clone and is that a chaparell?
