Are we still "sorta" enforceing the active member rule?

 

barring objections, I am going to amend that rule to state "active members are members with 5 posts in a month or over XXXXX posts and are not banned" We have some members that are very active, but cant get the post counts. For instance Zak is going to have trouble with it this month. I have had trouble with it last month, and cheeks has had trouble with it recently... Are we active members?

I never took that rule that the post had to count towards your post count. As far as I'm concerned, 5 post in OT count, even if they don't count towards your total.

 

Those who are active know who the other active members are, and generally that's what keeps a member in the forefront when ROTM time comes around. The problem with going just by post count is only for the ones who lock themselves in the lounge. However, welcoming somebody in the new member section counts, so that's another incentive to welcome the newbies. Being considered an "active" member, by getting 5 posts a month, isn't hard at all to do.
