My 67 is a RS/SS. The motor is not numbers matching, it is a 69 350 pushing out about 325 HP. The M21 4 speed and 12 bolt rear are original. It is a older paint job but not orginal. The rest of the car is mostly original. About the only upgrades that has been done is the radio, multi leaf spring and power steering. It is fun weekend driver not a show car. I do keep the stock rims and switch them out with these saw blades depending on my mood.

Now as always you guys can do pretty much whatever you want to in order to get votes. Add a more robust description and as many photos as you want. But don't go posting threads to vote for you in every section, that's got to stay in OT.

Voting ends at midnight central time on January 31st.

Good luck to you all, now lets get it on!

Orocker FTW !

BTW: Before anyone points it out, the brick is there not because the park brake does not work it is there because I have four kids and I do not want to go chasing a SS through the farmers field, again. Its a long way to the bottom of that valley.

craby 01-18-2011 08:34 PM

ummm again??? gooo OOOO

Man, yer throwin in the shop towel pretty early, ain't ya?
And naaaah, that brick thing never crossed my mind. heh...heh
Actually, I thought that was your portable cruise-control. ;)

orocker 01-18-2011 11:54 PM

Thanks craby! And anyone else who votes for me. I'm up against a lot of pretty sweet rides.

Gorn 01-19-2011 08:47 AM

I like to vote for whoever has puts the effort in their car combined with the effort they put in keeping us updated about it. Orockers has a great thread and I learned a little from it (seat covering). I know what a pain it is to stop and take pics as you are working. I realize ride of the month does not always go to who I think deserves it but when I see someone put this kind of effort they get my vote.
Camaro 69 thanks for the nom, but the only reason I accepted was I feared there would not be enough cars to make it interesting.

LOL, Orocker your car is comming along great and not trying to take away from it at all just dont see why one would be so upset about voting in a poll of people never even met before?

orocker 01-19-2011 11:54 AM

I dont worry about the outcome of it all. Its not in my control. I do hope my work shows for it though. I can understand why another would win over mine. I am thankful to be apart of this. This forum is my home and I have actually met several of the members on here.

greenarrow 01-19-2011 11:55 AM

I'm not so sure about the side pipes, I kinda think that's a vette thing, but I like the hood. Nice inprovement from when you first got it.

oreocreaming 01-19-2011 11:17 PM

not seein now orocker's car has so many votes. its far from being complete. the first two are by far the nicest, game-over has hands down the nicest presentation there.

WIspartan1026 01-19-2011 11:51 PM

I'm reserving my vote for O when it's done. I'm amazed how much work you've done, but I can't bring myself to vote for an unfinished car...

It's definitely a toss-up between Bandit63 and Game-Over for me at this point.

Buffalo02Z28 01-20-2011 12:41 AM

I voted for the one with the baddest motor.

Game-Over 01-20-2011 04:23 AM

thanks for the kind words...
all the cars are awesome IMO

heres some extra pics and a link to a little exhaust clip for those that have not seen them yet.

Wow, so many nice cars! This is tough!

Gen2-454 01-20-2011 11:53 AM

Come on Bandit!!

craby 01-20-2011 12:36 PM

anyone can go out and buy a nice 1st gen camaro, (no offense guys) not to many will put the time and money into one in rough shape knowing they will never get the money out of it that they are putting into it. it takes a special person with patience and commitment to take on such a challenge. add to that this little lady was a mom raising kids and husband (big kid) as she has done this. now a granny she is still moving forward to the finish line. to me its a no brainer but thats just me. all the cars in the running are great cars and they all deserve to win. i just happen to support my fav. gooo OOO

This is true craby.
And just think, I've been working on my ride for about 10 years now, have about $10,000 over what I could sale it for, and wasn't even nominated lol

Ehh, just call me the noob :icon_playing:

Camaro 69 01-20-2011 04:08 PM

Ok, you're the noob.

craby 01-20-2011 04:10 PM

right on, ill nom you next time up. i think its in june so gives you time to get it extra special nice and gather up the old pictures into a build thread. :)

rmoncur 01-20-2011 04:16 PM

I just read on O's build thread that she is in this car 30K now...if that doesn't deserve a ROTM I don't know what does...I'm with Craby on this one.

No offense taken. She had done a great job on her car. I think it looks very nice, but a lot of us have spent a great deal of time and money on our cars.

Game-Over 01-20-2011 09:36 PM

Craby. I take it that statement was directed at me. Since I'm the only one that just "bought" mine.

Which I really don't take offense to it. But does sting alittle. I didn't buy this car. I traded a car that I built from ground up and sunk alot if money into ($30k)

It was my way out of my last ride and into my dream car.
I have had the car only for a month. As soon as weather breaks. There will be big changes.

You have a damn nice looking 69..............Don't worry about what other people say.........

orocker 01-20-2011 11:40 PM

Hey I'm happy and thankful for such support but totally understand what a lot don't vote for a camaro that's not finished. Is one reason I bowed out last oct. Hopefully by this oct it will be done. No worries guys I am very proud of my ride.

craby 01-21-2011 01:45 AM

naa wasnt directed to any one of you guys. i would trade my 93 for any one of your camaro's, just havin fun giving you guys a hard time and supporting the O. like i said you all deserve to win i just happen to support the little lady with the red camaro. soo if your on the fence and not sure who to vote for i urge you to vote for O. go granny go. lol.

Ha, well, after 6 years in the garage, it better be done by june! And yes, I'll gather up some build pics.

All in all though, there are some very nice builds on this site. Wish I would have known about this site years ago! Great job guys and gals! Awesome rides!

StoveBolts 01-21-2011 10:21 AM

Wow Bandit, do you still have your stock gas pedal? Mine wouldn't work (not enough throw for WOT) and I had to go with an aftermarket cable that's a pain in the rear end to install.

StoveBolts 01-21-2011 10:21 AM

orocker,
You have lots to be proud of for sure!
