Well the 5th gens are a little new to have a bunch of mods on them, besides who wants to void the warranty going crazy. I can understand keeping them stock for a while, let the aftermarket catch up. And besides, for what they paid for them, I'm sure not all of them have the money to start modding.

atleast here in Iowa, if the aftermarket part causes other stock parts to fail, the warranty still has to cover the stock parts.

So if you install twin turbos and jack the HP up to 1100 HP GM has to fix the motor the tranny and rear every time you go to the track?? Here in PA any mods to a new car voids the warranty. If the mods are big enough then Vin will be black listed,, mean no more warranty payments will be made to any dealership on that car.

if you have twin turbos and 1100hp, there probably isnt all that much stock left on the car.

Normally you would build an engine and drive line that could handle it but whats the point if its all covered under warranty. Screw the turbo just bolt on a 300 shot of NOS.. I wonder how many motors GM would put in. I could blow one a week. But hey its the law.
