Nominations for December ROTM - Outlaw (other than camaro)
Thanks guys what a surprise!
I guess you cant get much more outlaw on a Camaro forum than this being as it's got no wheels,no transmission and is Ford (gasp!) powered .
Just to give y'all an overview of the boat and what's happening with her currently.
She's a 19' 1976 Tahiti Minicruiser with (as pictured) the original Ford big block 460 and Berkley jetdrive.

After spinning a rod bearing and disassembling the engine a defect was found in the block so a fresh build is underway with another block.
I've been working with Paul Kane at http://www.highflowdynamics.com/
one of the most knowledgeable BBF guys out there, his shop works exclusively with 429/460 engines and is a specialist with Marine engines.
Paul prepped my block with his special oiling mods seen listed and explained here http://www.highflowdynamics.net/ ,did the port and assembly work on my heads and supplied me with a few other parts including one of his stage 1 prepped Melling HV oil pumps.
Lower end is Eagle crank with Eagle forged I-beam rods and will reside in an Armando's Racing 10qt jetboat specific oil pan, pistons are SpeedPro Forged flat tops .030 over with Perfect Circle rings running about 9.7:1 compression,Hydraulic 565 lift flat tappet cam and lifters are from Compcams with a custom highflowdynamics grind recommended to me by Paul.
Timing chain is double roller Ford Racing. (Cloyes made)
The heads are early ('70-'71) D0VE C open chamber high compression that have been converted over to SuperCobrajet specs with 2.25" intakes.
Valves are stainless steel Ford Racing with a 3 angle grind, rockers are Miller Engineering 7075 aircraft aluminum rollers, the intake is an Offenhauser Port-O-Sonic dual quad tunnel ram with matching Holley 660cfm centersquirt 1:1 ratio (all 4 barrels open together manually) drag racing carbs designed for tunnel ram use.
These are the heads, first pic shows the top head with the SCJ gasket traced on it for porting and the second head porting roughed out.

Finished product.

This will be polished and maybe Jethot clear coated.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
