i would be all for having a non camaro month... heck one month out of the 12 wont hurt. some of the guys that are of most help around here DONT have camaros... neons,firebirds etc.. except gaystangs[:'(]..lol.. jk... mayb[&:]

 

the thing is we havent gotten alot of support for enough of these. the only ones that have done well are ROTY, v6, and outsiders, everything else has gotten some support but just as much criticism. There may not be any need for a vote if we cant get more than 4 options people actually seem to like. if u guys are really into it we can throw some more of those into the mix, but some of the catagories like track times and price need a couple months to make them make sense. what we are looking for is a competition that will call for a neary completely new set of people every month (new as in not the same ones that competed in the generational months) so v6 is awesome for this, and outsiders, as well as ROTY, since it covers every camaro here.

things like T-tops, verts, early 2nd gen, these things restrict the playing field down too much. If we can come up wit one more that 90% of the people in here can just go "hell ya" well throw it in there, otherwise there may just be a wildcard month, which may pull from any one of the previous suggestions, or something completely new.

well, next month is going to be 4th gen, and that will affectively do it for the 1st round of general ROTM. v6 guys may wanna go take lots of pics during april (hint hint)

what about, instead of vert/t-top... Hard top? there's actually a couple of those around here, and i think would draw different people than t-top or vert people. hard top would also include all years.

Also think that if you do 2 months for each gen(meaning 8 total) that like one 4th gen should be LT1 only, and second should be LS1 only. then like 3rd gen 305, and 3rd gen 350 (or 3rd gen pre TPI, and TPI). i dunno for 1st and 2nd though. not to many on here.

 

it was difficult enough to get guys for 3rd gen this time. once things pick up and we have alot more activity in here we can restrict the themes more
