Every time I look at your signature I have an idea of painting the hood black (the gel coat wont look good for ever out in the sun), The top of the header and the deck lid all in black. It would blend a black hood into the rest of the car. Instead of looking like you found a bad *** cowl hood at the local pick a part

 

I'll have to paint mine soon, the gel coat scratches with the slightest touch. One of the best lookin camaro's I've seen was a red iroc with a semi gloss black hood like mine with dark tinted windows. the hood probably not stay black, i would like a more finished looking car with a little brighter red.......and stripes.

U could always just paint the entire car black.
