Don't forget the stainless top trim for the wiper door and fenders too.
Another option, if you're not concerned with originality, is to put on an aftermarket hood designed to replace the wiper door assembly. That would tuck the wipers under the hood like the 73 and up models are.

This is the whole wiper door and pivot hinge assembly: Corvette 1969 1970 1971 1972 Wiper Door Assembly | eBay
Then there's a vent grille that goes between the door and hood. I can show a pic of mine if you need, but you probably get the idea.

No.... I'm going for restoring the car and doing it right. Originality is something I am very concerned with on this car

And leave your hair long enough to grab and pull out for when you start to work on the wiper door and vacuum controls!!

That I can believe haha. Also I noticed there are a LOT more clipped wires than I thought... so new harness it is.
