1970 Riviera Hot Rod?
I am currently working on a 70 riv base and did some work to it rims, stage 1 heads, dual carbs, hood tac, street scoop, 2500 stall, lot of cleaning and painting but I have a problem with the car not running that great and wondering want fuel presser should I have at the fuel rail on dual carbs its got a electric fuel pump in the tank and yes its factory I just don’t know if it’s got enough presser for both carbs

It's factory from what vehicle? That Riv originally came with a mechanical engine mounted fuel pump. Are you running with a fuel pressure regulator? If not, you have too much pressure to the carbs. What kind of carbs are they? 5-6 psi would be plenty. I'm running dual Holleys off a mechanical pump, and they're fed just fine. Oh, and pictures....I'd like to see this beast.

That's weird, because if you look up applications for the Riv, both mechanical and electric pumps come up. Do you know the output pressure, and was that pump unregulated originally?

i dont know much about it but i am testing pressure tomorrow and just wanted to know what pressure is needed i figured 6-8 psi for single carb is good but didnt know if dual carbs needed more or not

When I had a gauge on my fuel rail (before the cheap thing decided to leak) it was reading between 6-7. PSI is one factor, but it would be good for you to know the gph rating of your pump. Having the right pressure doesn't necessarily mean you have enough volume.

Holley or Edelbrock carbs like no more thsn 6 lbs. pressure, whether it's single or dual carbs. I run my twin Holleys at 4.5 psi backed by a 115 gph electric pump and 10 micron filter.
