Yeah they did that in the late '70's,before that Broadway was the "cruise gut" in downtown Portland and all the streets were two way streets.
We'd go down there in our cars to cruise and meet chicks, every Friday and Saturday night it was a big O'l traffic jam lol.

Chevy Showdown was a bust, no good cars, not many showed up. I went out early in the club I'm in, let off the gas trying to keep just in front of Ken in his gtp, but he squeaked by me. We should meet up sometime for the hell of it, all of us. I know Tony is hard to drag out, and he doesn't come to this forum anymore (73camaross)

I'd be up for a little Camaro/Firebird rally some weekend.
Maybe a cruise up the Columbia Gorge National Scenic area on WA highway 14 and back on I-84 or a highway 30/101/26 loop Portland,Astoria,Seaside and back>>>>>>>>>>

That actually makes me want to ditch the camaro and get on the bike instead

Sounds fun, I need to fix the tune in my car before I do anymore long drives, it didn't like the drive down to woodburn this morning.

I'm all about that too,in fact I've been through St.Helens 3 or 4 times in the last couple months either coming from or going to the coast on the bike.

We need to revive this post again! I'd really like to see as many Camaros as possible get together for the Wdnesday night cruise-drags at PIR that Beaches puts on this summer.
It would be really impressive for a bunch of us in various generation Camaros to plan on meeting somewhere close to PIR and all drive in and park together in one area!
