so sad news boys. my baby was hit today. a lady in a 05 kia rio was trying to pull an ilegal u turn and his the passenger door. my car acutally didnt do to bad her bumper got ripped off and shattered her driver side headlight. sucks for her. lol. at least my baby will be as good as new when her insurance company fixes my car.

i posted pics of the damage on the photobucket link. check it out. it doesnt seem like allot but they estimate $4000 minimum in damage.

 

Here's a trick, go to a few more shops, take the one that gives you the greatest cost of repair. We did that with one of our cars, someone bumped into us, and the estimates were 300, 500, 450, 1300. Guess which one we took? lol.

 

hmm, I see new side skirts, a new fender, and some door work. Her car looks beat up bad. They'll replace that fender, it's plastic, so they can't fix it.

no i just had it in the shop yesterday and they said it might be totaled my buddy who works there is working on it and says that its 500 off already and its not allthe way taken apart

 

totaled wow it didnt look that bad,what do you mean 500 off isnt the insurance company paying for it all.

 

I hope it ain't totaled, that would really suck, especially with all that money you just put in it.

An update on my car: IT'S ALIVE!!!! MUAHAHAH!!! There's no muffler on it yet, the exhaust ends after the cat. I'm taking it to the shop tommorow to have them install the catback, the hangers are wrong, and I suck at welding to boot. Just drove it up the road, the air intake is hissing, the exhaust hurting my ears, and the speedo is about 20-30 mph off now. The exhaust is so loud that it feels very strange to sit in it. And the best part: the rear end is not making any sound at all!!!! I'm a very happy boy.
