i live in NY state and got a 1979 camaro that has a salvage title on it. the car had a fire under the hood and most of the wires and hoses are melted. i got it running but nothing electical works. i just want to know what needs to be in operating condition for the salvage inspection. ive been told that its not a safty inspection and they are just looking for stolen parts and nothing needs to work as long as u can drive it in the shop. but others have said that everything needs to work. Can anyone tell me what they are looking for at the inspection. THANKS.

If it wasn't so beautiful here where i live (St. Lawrence Valley) with the mighty river 10 minutes one direction and the Adirondack mountains 20 minutes in the other, then the fact my whole family is still here............ i'd move too!

 

i lived like 5 min from lake ontario (near rochester) it was beautiful there too but i couldnt handle how expensive it is to live there im buying packs of smokes for 5$ my aunt told me about a week ago that there 12$ over the course of a mth thats huge money

 

LOL.... naaaa, i'm in what they call Northern NY, up above the Thousand Islands. Only 40 minutes from an Indian res. so i make a bi weekly trip yo get my smokes.. $17 a carton. If it weren't for them, i'd be broke!
