Hey, I like the people I talk to on here, so I figured Id extend the offer. I'm the creator/leader of a crew called "282 Touge" and we have an event going on for all the car fanatics that also love the fast and the furious series. Here are the details.


282 Touge will be hosting a fast and furious meet and ride. Fast 6 is coming out May 24th, and come on now, I don't see them not having a midnight showing. Do you?!

Anyhow, I am thinking of having everyone meet up around 10-10:30pm on the night of the 23rd. Only saying this early because a lot of people like to show up "fashionably" late to occasions. The place to meet will be the big empty parking lot on the right side of Kmart in front of the Exton Mall. We will all leave together at 10:50pm to all roll in to the UA East theater in Frazer at 11pm. Giving us plenty of time to get our tickets at the box and get in line for decent seats.
I picked this theater because its where I went for another fast and furious midnight showing, plus you don't need those stupid arm bars down and can recline comfortably here.
If anyone thinks we should go earlier or strongly believes in a different movie theater, you may say something. I'm probably not going to change the location, and I'm pretty sure we went around 11 last time and were fine. Will listen to opinions though.
Also, do yourself a huge favor. Go to fandango.com and search fast 6. Click tickets and put in the area code 19355. It will say showtimes aren't available yet blah blah blah. Enter your email address. This way as soon as the tickets become available, you can order them and have them!
I most likely already have 2 people set up to do something. The plan is, we will all go to the theater together. We will all try to go in at once as best we can. We will go down toward the theater, make a left to go in front of the theater and continue to the left side. We will all park on the left side of the theater. When we go in front of the theater, I will have one person set up to take pictures of each car that goes by, and one recording us all going by. They may also be coming earlier to take pictures before we leave at the meet. Only thing I ask is, don't rev the engine like crazy, burnout, or drift. This isn't an attempt to show off, I just figured it would be something fun to do for the occasion of fast 6.

uhhhhh, save up gas money? haha. youll just get home at like 6 30am when the movie ends at like 2.

 

If gas hadn't just gone up to $4.09/gallon where I'm at. Stupid storm barely hit us and every thing got jacked up on prices. It is very, very, very tempting though.

 

yea, it went up to 3 59 here when it was just 3 35.. gas prices are always going up and i still drive everywhere. haha. plus, mainly tuners are coming so far. im literally the only camaro so far. i could use another camaro. especially the same gen. that would make for some awesome pics too since ill have a pro photographer.

 

I'll see what I can do. May is still a whiles away so there's at least three paychecks between now and then. Gotta make sure I'm take off work that night even though I usually get day shift. Better safe than sorry on that.

 

yea, it shouldnt be too hard to save up for the event beings i am giving such a long notice. just make sure to comment back on this a few days prior if you can remember. ill probably post just to have this pop up around then. if you come down, i want to know to look for you. gotta pair up these babies.

 

Will do. Hopefully I can get the car in a bit better shape than she is in now. At least on the front where we had one spot of paint run. Gotta get the exhaust to stop rattling all the time and belt from squealing.
