I just bought a '02 3.8 camaro and have been struggling to find any forced induction at all. Preferably I'd like to find a supercharger because my understanding is that it's not as hard on your engine as a turbo. I know they make superchargers for gtps with the 3.8 but have also heard they are rather difficult to put into the comaro/firebirds. Anyone know where I can find either of these? Thanks in advance.

 

your gonna spend all that money supercharging a V-6 and your never gonna get it to perform like you want it to and you gonna think .... WOW i could have had a V-8. sick

 

Yeah, I would have rather had the V8, don't get me wrong lol. The thing is, I got a killer deal on this one and just sold my eldorado and was car-less. I guess I'm almost just doing it to see what the V6 is like once it has everything possible. It obviously won't be able to hang with a fully modded V8, but as for the majority of the other cars, they shouldn't be much of a challenge after it's all said and done. Anyways, back to my question...

 

there are several 3.8 liter superchargers on ebay but, as you have already said it will have to be modified to fit. good luck. sick

if u go to crate engine depot they have them i have a 2000 v6 camaro was thinking about getting a supercharger but went with a 120 shot nitrous on a low level so i its tearing up the engine and i made 75 more horses to the back wheels
