so i got a 305 in my iroc currently... switching to a 350 soon that i will be building.. my question is hoe can i supercharge my v-belt system with a centrifugal blower... do i just have to swap to a serpintine system?? i want to stick with my fuel injection which is TPI.. ive never seen a roots type blower for my application nore a centrifigual for it... so am i just SOL without a serpintine system?

 

they make feul injection root style blowers too. they do cost a pretty penny. it has a fuel rail and some injectors on it. i looked for you but i cant find any of them. they did a fuel injected root style supercharger on horsepower and it was pretty ballsy. but if you dont wanna do that, the centrifugal style superchargers need the serpentine belt. a v belt is too skinny to power the thing.

this is your best bet. this way you can still keep your v belts.

 

i thought that system was only for serpentine... thats the one that i looked at but i didnt think they worked..so thanks

 

just give them a call. the techs know a lot more than think. ask them any question and they can prolly give you a reasonable answer.

 

yea i actually never even thought of just callin them....good thinking... its amazing how i overlook the obvious sometimes.
