Default nitrous on stock 3.8

ive been lookin into getting a nitrous setup for my 3.8, what would be a safe shot, and could my engine even handle it considering it has 145K miles would i need to rebuild it. I have a cai and a full exhaust system are there any other supporting mods that will need to be made. also, which is better wet or dry

i have never seen mileage really affect whether nitrous can be used or not. if the motor is in good running condition and not burning oil then spray away

Wet systems are better and not that much harder to add. If you are going to run dry i would keep it safe with a50 howeverif you went with a wet shot i would say 75 would be ok as well.I would recomendcolder plugs and by pulling a little timing with the 75.

Well mileage can play into the part of engine longetivity. Correct me if I am wrong, i always thought nitrous puts a toll on the engine if used enough. Therefore at high mileage couldnt it start to wear and tear the engine?

If you are going to race at drag strip don't expect too many passes. Now if you are thinking of installing it on a street driven car, remember it is ILLEGAL in most states.

ive never heard of nitrous being illegal, as long as your not speeding or racing you can have it installed in the car.
