first off, i see a lot of posts mentioning a 75 shot for $545...where do you buy that from?

ok and second, would a '75 shot' actually boost horsepower by about 75? third, what about putting in a bigger cam and better flowing heads at the same time, what kind of power increases along with that nitrous can you expect? fourth, i have a 2000 v6, and have heard that the exhaust manifolds are very much improved from that year, so would it be beneficial at all to add on headers? budget at 3 grand +/- a little bit, and my brother and i could do most of the installation ourselves. if anyone in particular has done alllll of these modifications, please let me know if you thought it was worth it, and what numbers you're crankin out. thanks in advance!

 

Nitrous is adjustable. You can set it by changing jets out. Yes it would be a good gain in power. A 75 wet would probaly make around 85WHP i would say 100 torque.

NX, NOS, ZEX are all good companies to deal with and offer good support. If you shop around 450-600 bucks will get you a good wet kit and all you need to run it. You can add purge for about 125 bucks, and a bottle heater for 175 if you want them. Sometimes you can find deals. I payed 400 bucks for bottle heater, purge, the kit and a full bottle. The thing wasI was on the right forum at the right time.

 

if u have about 3k to spend then get a v8 engine do not waste time and money on a v6 come on pple....a v6 ..... dont waste time, more pple will call it rice then anything else...

 

the 6 is not a waste of time, they will go too, but it is harder to get the power from them you can get from a v8, the best thing would be send the car to lingenfelter, but not all of us have that money, nitrous will help, along with bolt ons and a cam. there are a lot of fast sixers out there, do what you can but dont feel bad that the car is a 6
