Probably easier than the LS1 swap you were asking about. Take this for what it is worth, but I would think with one of those, that most of the time is spent running wires, hoses, and making everything look pretty. The instructions I am sure will cover the actual hooking up stuff pretty well.I am no expert by any means, but if you have to ask how hard it is, it may not be for you.

Ive installed a few nitrous kits, pretty much one in every car Ive owned. In my GTP the hardest part to install was the bottle, no joke, cause by law in canada it has to be out of reach and view of the driver it has to go in the trunk. So removing the gas tank, (as im a dumbass and did it with full tank ) was the hardest part. Then you drill a 3/4 hole under your carpet in trunk through floor nearest to the side of the car as possible. run your NOS line, I used snap ties to hold it under car beside fuel line as its far enough away from the heat and is hidden well. then install your cylinoids under the hood anywhere you want the kits have enough line to give you room for that. You'll have to drill another 3/4 hole through the firewall, unless you can find one big enough to put the wires to the interior wherever you want to install your switch. Then depending on the kit, have a button, or a full throttle switch mounted on your T body, ( thats my favorite ) I have pictures in here somwhere of one or two of my installes.

The zex kit is a little bit harder to install then some but if you have the time and a little mechanical experience its not bad.

yeah... farther i looked into the ls1, the worse it looked... (money wise... having the motor would be badass) but i think i will cam (with supporting mods) and do nitrous on this motor... good news and bad news... my rear main seal is leaking like a mother... we used engine seal... didnt do a thing. so thats the bad news... good news is that if i can convince them to pull the motor, instead of just dropping the tranny, a cam install would be a hella lot easier!
