Default a little help please

Hello all, I am debating on which motor to get LS1 or LS2 for my 67. My ideal setup would be pretty much a stock simple bolt on with a supercharger, but the thing is I am researching both motors and I am leaning more on the LS1 because of the compression. So my question is which motor would be healthier/ reliable for street daily driven with the stock supercharge setup. Yeah I understand both motors are pretty close, but the torque in the LS2 is a lot less then the LS1. So if you guys can please put your knowledge and suggestions in. Thanks

more parts are for the ls1. why not LT based? lt4 and lt5 would be pretty sweet. and still faster then the ls1.

h8ter, the lt4 was not faster by any means... even the GS vettes were slower than ls1 fbodies. and i dont think i have evAr seen an lt5 in person.

to put it into perspective, a buddy of mine has a 97 ws6 with the full lt4 swap (not the hotcam package). I dyno'd 40rwhp higher than he did on the same dyno 20 min apart. he had shorty headers on his with the ram air kit, i had a borla catback and slp lid.

LS1>LT4
Since this is a classic swap i would spend the money and go LS2.

LS2 would be good, but I agree that LS1 has a more broader aftermarket

Just picked up a ls6 from a buddy for 4k, starting to prep for paint and the engine bay doing a bit of cleaning up no dents or anything just needs a paint job gunmetal with black strips, z28 badges. still deciding with the interior. debating on on the 2007 zo6 seats 2002 zo6 odometer. can you put the dash in a 67 camaro?
