really on a 350 platform, spend 1500 and you have a whole lot of power, but if you get a cam and carb def get a good intake, maybe a edlebrock performer rpm, cheap and good

if your gunna loo for a performer intake or something, post under the wanted area on craigslist and you'll deffinetly get some hits for sure, i found one on there and i pais 20 bucks for it, it was actually still sitting in the box that it came in to begin with, it was used once, just keep your eye out for the deals, they are out there.

my friend has an 85 camaro with a 305, he was trying to blow it up. he strapped a 30lb bottle of nitrous to it, running dirtectly into the intake, just a straight shot into the intake. he went throught the entire bottle without the engine even coughing

found out he had the equivalent of a 300 shot on there!!!

Hey it is the cheapest way to make alot of power fast. And as long as his engine andstock fuel systemare in good shape. You could run a smaller 75-100 shot easy. But chappie99 is wright i wouldnt make it your first mod unless your just taking to the track. A good Intake manifold and carb should be your first mods. In a package they should run around 500-700 bucks. If you have the extra cash you may want to get a cam to match the set up. This will give you a good starting point and give you alot to build off of . keep us up to date on your project.

Whats going on. I have a 92 rs camaro i have just succesfully swaped out the 5.0 with a 5.7 Runs great. Full exhaust shorty headman headers. 3' No cat 40 series flowmaster. World product heads. Brand new 350 From JEGS. Edlebrock high rise intake. Everything else stock. Superchip. Just to get the engine to run right. NExt thing is a cam and injectors.. which is my only real problem besides not haveing a good cam. I have heard the 305 tbi injectors are only like 55# or something and the 350 tbi injectors are about 64-65# Is this true? JUst curious. And some suggestions on a good cam. the max lift on the head is somewhere around 525. And a cam to where i dont have to have a big stall
