Almost got it figured out
Yes spartan, I am planning to supercharge my V6
I had the money to buy the supercharger, but I spent it all on tools on black friday [&o] It's gonna be a while.
I found out that RK Sport made a supercharger kit for the v6 Camaro's a few years ago. It was a very simple kit, used a powerdyne supercharger, and ran off the main accessory belt. It also let you keep the A/C. I'm going to replicate their setup, the best I can. I'd like to use a gear drivin paxton or vortech s/c instead. Not going to make much boost, or power for that matter. I've got a glass t5 trans unfortunately. Someday I'll do a t56 swap then crank the boost up [sm=gears.gif]
I should be starting this during the summer. It was going to be a winter project, but Clark requires that I have my own tools. I don't want to make more than 300 horse, I'll start killing tranny's left and right. I'm also going to say bye-bye to my foglights and let those openings feed some air to an intercooler.

Never heard of that before. The bracket would be completely wrong, as well as all the tubing. The only thing you'd get out of an lt1 kit is the blower.

People have been popping 3rd with bolt-ons. I'd like to run some serious boost someday. But I'm also not building this for drag racing, got the mustang for that. This is for road rally.

I only know what I've been told, but I hear nothing but bad about our 5 speeds all the time. Every time I bring up a power adder on ftv6, I get swamped with "Dude, yur gonna break yur tranny" comments. One way to find out eh?

Hopefully that will be true. TBH I'd like to get a blower cam and aluminum p/p heads eventually. Is the mustang T5 the exact same trans as the camaro one minus the bell housing?
