I have a 93z lt1A4 and I am wanting to install a D-1SC or maybe a Vortech SC. My main goal is to crank out about 550 horses at least and I was wandering what I need to do to get there including the SC help if anyone has a better brand plz tell. thanks

 

It wont be as simple as just slapping a SC on there. I dont know the lt1 motor capabilities, but that much power is possible but never straight foreward. you will definitly need fuel system upgrades, more than just injectors. Probably go with an in tank pump, but an inline could probably work as well. If the internals can handle it great, if not then u will need forged crank, rods, pistons, probably want to lower compression while ur at it if u need to do that. its an almost certainty for 650rwhp.

remember also that it is VERY expensive to make a 650hp STREET car. u could make that car fast at the track for a decent price, but to keep it streetable be prepared to spend alot of money.

 

You will need to build a motor from the block up if you want it to last with those kind of numbers. I think you can hit those numbers esp with a meth/alch injection setup.
