I know a guy with a collection like that, that will be a huge insurance check but if this guy is like the guy I know he won't care.
Got to wonder if the rich people didn't horde the nice cars would they be more affordable for the rest of us car lovers. I say that knowing that if I was rich I would be doing it also.
The danger in large car collections like this is that they can be destroyed all in one shot. Look at the corvette museum a few years ago and a friken sink hole. The guy I know collection contains the Nation Grand Champaign unrestored 1969 440 6 pack Dodge Charger with 2900 miles on it. It is next to a all original GTX 426 hemi and across form 5 Shelby Cobra Mustang 3 of them are unrestored. A fire there would be devastating.
