That is one nice looking car,

 

Not anymore. I was running dual quads, so I needed the taller hood. But I have since sold the ram and carbs YEARS ago. I just kept the hood in case I ran across something else that needed the extra clearance. Plus I had it painted to match my car. But its just been sitting a couple decades.

I watched as a lot of guys hacked their cars up, (wheel wells, hoods, etc) but I always wanted to keep mine untouched.

 

Thanks, I thought so too, the first time I saw it in the neighbor's garage.
I was actually looking to buy a Vette when I ran across this car. I had already looked at a 67 Roadster with the high horse 427/Tri-Power. <SIGH>

 

I had overhauled the engine in 1984, and had decided to get it outto go to a few car shows. So the next year I started getting it ready for the summer of1986.

So this picture is from around 1985. I have the front bumper off so I can buff & wax the whole front of the car.
