Default yet another noob (4th Gen)

G'mornin..

So im new to the forums.. this is actually my first forum.. we'll see how this works out.. lol..

alright.. so my camaro is a 1995.. 3.4.. Base.. auto.. she gets me back and forth from work and college.. she sat in a garage for a while while I was in the army.. she is my most recent Chevy purchase.. I had an 85' blazer (350 swap.. who doesnt have one of those?..exfiancee rolled it!).. an 86' Monte Carlo (exfiancee SOLD IT!).. and my 76' Nova (292 swap with OFFY intake and clifford exhaust... im an I6 fan..cant help it..EXFIANCEE TRIED TO TAKE IT!! ..lol..)..

so I decided to take some action in repairing the 95 and pulled her out of the garage.. just had the a/c fixed (I live in FL.. its a necessary evil), the tranny mount replaced (funny how a .65 cent speed sensor o-ring can leak and destroy a $120 mount).. and now .. now... im fighting the evil "EGR SOLENOID 1,2,3" code.. and I know its not the EGR..ive cleaned the pipes going into the exhaust and intake.. I shoved a brush as far as I could into the intake and carbon just kept coming.. code is still there.. any advice on how to clean out the rest of that port on the intake would be great!.. its pretty far in and I dont want to damage it with a clothes hanger.. any homemade tool suggestions?.. she has a vibration at idle and im certain the there she is burning fuel to compensate for lack of air from both EGR and clogged intake.. im thinking of just taking the intake off and having it cleaned out at the machine shop.. alright .. thats enough for now..

and yes.. the pic below shows a for sale sign in the window.. its the only pic I have.. while I was away I told my mother to sell the car.. now im happy I didnt! ..
