I just bought an 86 z28. I live in NY and the cars from florida so no rust but really bad sun damage. The car had new tires on Iroc wheels but the original TPI305 had been removed and replaced with a late 70s 305 with an edelbrock performer intake and edelbrock carb. interior good except for the typical cracked dash......I paid a $1000 bucks for it haha I had to buy it. This is my second camaro I had my first when I was 17 a 91rs but I fell asleep at the wheel......RIP old girl... So now I'm 25 and I'm gonna redeem my self for my previous camaro defacing by bringin this one back to tip top shape with a 350 motor swap and some new paint and suspenion work but I haven't decided whether or not to swap out the auto trans for a T5 or not.

For any other purposes.....manual.

but yeah that 305 has to go....LTx or LSx would be nice
