Newbie,had my 81 since high school ,1988. The 81 has about 80,000 on it ,5000 since restored mostly by me,I didn't lay paint,won a few awards so far! It's has a 406/ 500 hp,150 shot.The 02 is my d/d,it has only 36,000 miles on it. I know some stuff hope I can help!

Nice car yes I want an 02 ss le1 an a gen 2 ,I got 406 in my 95 welcome to the forum,my friend has 79 same paint skeem not near as good a shape though ,I been thinking about 74 to 81 ,but I honestly like the 4th gens they drive great ,an a stock ss would probley stay stock ,though iwant to make my 95 an ss rs clone ,look,for now I will just get the front end fixed ,long story on that one,i see you have 3800 too ,you can go to you garage an post a ton of pictures there of your build an other toys you may have ,I got my 3800 when I was looking for donor I want the 98 02 look on my 95 ,though now I will settle for just getting it fixed for now ,nice getting 30 miles to the gallon ,my 406 gets like 10 to 12 per gallon ,if 93 octane drops to a buck the beast will see more road time ,the 3800 I have had AC an its good for the long trips,i got to say I like my 406 ,I kinda wich I had got a gen 2 roller to put it in to ,but it runs good something to work out ,I was rushing a good thing ,mine has the 458tlbs lower hp at about 375hp but different heads an a cam could change a lot of things ,its light car ,meeing green light ? I don't race though on the road hehehe
