hey all, my name's Matt Ive been around heavy chevy's my whole life love em! my 14 year old son worked and saved all summer and to my amazement wanted to buy a 1st gen RS. well it wasnt for sale but the guy turned us onto a 2nd gen (77) type LT/RS. My dad offered up a 74 (425hp) 454 BBC for an early birthday present and now we are full on into a resto job. the body wasnt too horrable the usual rust in the rear quarters behind the doors and the drivers side front floor pan. weve got her stripped and ready to buy panels. question do you guys/gals have a preference between year one and restoration parts supply? they seem simalr in price I just dont know about the difference in quality. Ill try to get some pics up soon
