I'm very interested in buying a Camaro, and have about $5000 to spend. What could I expect to get? Note that I'm interested in doing a bit of DIY work, but have no experience in the area. If anyone could point me in a good direction for doing basic research, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This site is a good place for info. There are alot of people on here with alot of knowledge. 5K will get you a car that will need work but, I think not too much work that you wouldn't be able to handle.

alot of cars. but the condition is what u have to worry about could be poor and model.

 

id look for 94-97 camaro z28 models with decent mileage.up around 100,000.a little more or a little less.check ebay.ur not going to get a showcar but u can find some aawesome deals like i did with my car for 6500. 105,00 on the motor and u would think its brand new looking @ it..interior looks like it out of a car with 20,000 miles.amazing deal..there around but rare.look long enough though and you'lll find em
