Stalling problem
I don't understand I have a 93 z28 and all of a sudden my car wants to keep turning off while I'm driving and then sometimes will start right back and then it takes forever. I hav replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, and the fuel filter. Does any one have a idea what is going on.

The trick is to figure out what is missing when the car will not start. Do you have fuel pressure are the injectors get sent the signal to open and do you have spark at tthe plug. What it is missing when it wont start is a lot easier to find then then why it stalled.
Did the car fail a fuel pressure test? Is that why you changed fuel pump? There are two parts on a early 4th gens you do not want to buy budget parts for, the fuel pump and the Opti. The china made version of the opti's if you get over a year you got lucky. When I tried to put in a cheap airtec fuel pump in my 96 I did 3 until I found one that worked like it should.

No I haven't checked fuel pressure. I changed the fuel pump because everyone that heard the noise it was making trying to start said fuel pump. Its now at a shop and maybe they can figure something out. He was one of the guys said it was fuel pump and fuel relay.

The 2 year old Opti is what brand?
I had a '93 and had a new one fail in less than 10K miles.
It was world products installed by my mechanic,I told him not to put another in that's not GM Performance.
The warranty wasn't worth anything as it covered the part not labor and I didn't want another of the same thing.

I've heard sometimes the wire harness also fails so a good idea to plug in a new one when swapping out the Opti.
