Thanks for welcoming me. My car is an original SS/RS 350. built 10/1966. I have owned it since 1978. I had a 1966 SS 396 El Camino with Malibu trim. Built the engine for street/strip. It got totaled on Whittier Blvd (stopped at a red light & a dumbass Ford owner in a 4X4 truck with a grille guard didn't even slow down. plowed me into a 68 Chevelle), looked for a car I could put my big block into. Found an add for a 67 Camaro for $750. I saw it was an SS/RS. It had freeze plugs leaking from the rear of the block. Drove it home and took the 350/Powerglide out & put in a 396/Th400.
