Default Sluggish Low End Torque

Hi - I purchased a brand new 2011 Camaro SS. Overall the car moves pretty good but the power band seems to start around 2000 RPM. Below 2000 the car seems to bog down. Burnouts are impossible with this car. Even if turn off the traction control and put it in M1 it still wont even chirp the wheels. Does anyone else have this problem?

This should be in the 5th gen section but still goes to the fact that what I was saying about this nonsense traction control that the new vehicles come equipped with. Even though you turn it off, it somewhat still remains on. I have driven a couple new SS's and they are pretty quick off the line only because the computer eliminates wheel spin for better acceleration. I don't know if this holds true for the manual SS's because I have not driven one yet, but definitely the autos do this. You aren't alone buddy.
