I just bought a 2018 Camaro LT and as I was driving it home from the dealership I noticed a red "S" on the dashboard, near the PRNDL. Can someone tell me what it is?

 

On console where u shift right under the traction control is a button with arrows that allow u car to drive in different modes with the S being sports mode.. my car has T and S and another that I can't remember atm its a 17 model
