I am interested in having my 69 Camaro transported from the Twin Cities to Chicago. Reliable quoted me $800 and they were the only company I checked. When I run a google search I get tons of companies and it is difficult to discern between them. I am interested in other legitimate companies besides Reliable or perhaps there is a website that aggregates this information and offers several companies. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

 

I have never shipped a car myself but here in NJ there are a couple companies that do it. I think one is Horseless carriage and they are pretty big. They may have a division in your area

One of my sons spent some time working for big freight companies, like Schneider, and occasionaly would transport fancy cars inside the box trailer of the 18 wheeler. However, the customer provided the means to load and unload the car, and he has no idea what the charges were.
