Hey guys name is Jade but on this site I'll go by cam-cam. I wanted to know if I got a good deal on the car I just bought. It's a 1997 Camaro RS with t-tops (that don't seem to leak at the moment). It has 143,xxx miles on it and a no name cool air intake. I paid $2500 for it and it seems to drive ok all except the wobble from the back driver side tire. I think it may be a bent rim . Just want to know what you guys think.

 

hay jade welcome to the forum. i guess it depends on the condition of the car and how it has been cared for. i like to think of a cars base value is 100 dollars a month, so if the car lasts for 25 months without issues not associated with maintenance then its worth it. oh and ill probly never get to the worth it stage with my camaro. lol. post up some pictures when you can, photobucket works great on the site. open free account, download pictures, copy img code to post and picture shows in post. enjoy the site.

 

Welcome to CF, cam-cam. Your wobble could also be a bent axle. As such, the jury is still out whether you got a good deal or not.

 

Ew bent axle sounds pretty bad. How much do you think it would be to fix that if it were a bent axle?
