Chromed fenders aren't my style, guy I bought the car from had them on there. Im worried taking them off will damage the fender.

should be ok to take them off. should just be some clips that are holding htem on. but how long have they been on might have faded the paint.

Yeah and somesand orother matter could get under them and scratch the paint as well.
