Thumbs up (PICS) New Member Albuquerque, NM 1970 Camaro SS (PICS)

Hello all just joined the forum and wanted to share some pics of the 1970 Camaro SS I just picked up. Drove to Colorado to get it - traded my 1998 SVT Cobra Supercharged, Nitrous, water/meth injected fully forged engine with much much more for the Camaro. I used to drive my Uncles 1971 Camaro in high school every now and then and since then always wanted one. 30 years later, I own one now This 1970 Camaro has had a lot of modern day conveniences done to it which makes it great for a daily driver for me. It has Power windows, power brakes, Automatic turbo 350, 350 L-48 engine, Air conditioning (Factory - Ice cold), 4 Wheel disc brakes, (Power sunroof - there is a story there), New interior, New tires and wheels (the wheels are Cragar 390 pro's with tri-spoke spinners), keyless entry, AM/FM/CD/Satellite/Bluetooth and Cruise control. A mouth full but a lot of car for the trade. Here are some pics of it cause we all like photos in forums.

Thanks craby. Happy to be here. "Old School" baby! ha ha. Rear Air shocks and all. I have lowered the back now, but kinda like the fat tires in the back. Not the greatest for corners but a good cruiser. Thanks for the welcome.

Hello 95camaro406 and Camaro69,
Thanks for taking a look at the new addition. Glad to be here with the forum for sure. Ohh, man too bad you didn't get that '74, that would be a fun car, not that either of your Camaros are A W E S O M E already.

thank you yes it was a drag car ,that was made streetable again .had all the looks of a drag car had the after market sun roof you don't see often like yours but done right ,a fresh 383 making like 500hp ,fresh interior leather an 8 gallon fuel cell ,I was so close I had a wreck in my 95 had to fix it an bought the 99 3800 that has AC ,the car was sweet it needed power steering a few other things micky ts all the way around ,7k ,I was a few grand short ,an they were not takeing less then 7k ,it looked like a fat an furious type build an they needed to sell it for there next build an it was 600 mile trip too pick it up one way , ,wow it was sweet though all the goodies drag race cars have still there just short on the cash ,I had pictures but lost them in a back up on computer was black an yellow ,there hear in some thread though .an it was right after buying the 99 3800 for 2k ,yes that is sweet an that year 70 ss is awesome ? its rare to right I know the 70 z28 is ,an there was one on one of those flip it shows on tv the car went for like $48.000 ,most don't like the sunroofs for resale but I like them everyone was doing it in the late 70s early 80s
