Hey everyone,
My name is Michael and due to a friend going to the Navy, i was given a 92 Camaro RS. I have always worked with imports, but glad to finally have the chance to work with some real power. So I plan on using it only for 1/4 mile drag and having it all motor, but I am looking for advice on the way to go and figured this would be the best source for it. I know I want to find a 350 to drop in, but I want to rebuild it from top to bottom. If I start with just the block, have it bored out, and get aftermarket heads later, does it matter what 350 block I get? Needless to say, the import world is completely different and every engine is different and used only in a handful of models, so i don't know if its the same deal.

If I should post this somewhere else, let me know and I'll do it right away.

Welcome to the forum Michael. Got any pics?
You could ask your questions about the motor in the Engine and Internal (I think thats what it's called).
And it shouldn't matter what 350 block it is.

My apologies everyone, I've been real busy these last few weeks and forgot I had joined. I would love to get some pics but the car is 3 hours away at my moms house. I'm supposed to be going up this month to get it working but I don't have any room to take it back until i sell my Honda Prelude. I appreciate the advice and hope I can get this project started soon so I can keep everyone updated.
