Default Old Hot Rodder

Hi, all. I'm coming over from the Chevrolet forum. I'm a retired professional engine builder who still wants to help out where I can. I've been building engines all MY adult life and have been an active Drag Racer for over 40 Years. I quit racing around the time I turned 55. I still have My Daytona Yellow 1969 427-4 speed Camaro and My 1996 Z28 that I bought new as a 50th birthday present for ME. It has 23,000 Miles on it and I cruise it when the need strikes Me. I've had the '69 parked for about 14 years, just don't want to screw it up. They're just worth too much money these days. If anybody has tech needs or want help making their race car more efficient. Just pop in. I'll help.

Welcome, I'll probably hit you up with a few questions before I do stuff to mine. Where did you race at? oh yeah I've heard that if both Heads are made the same size, ports, ect. that cast iron will make more hp than aluminum. Do you know if this is true?
