Default Not a camaro addict!

Hey everyone,
My name is Chris. I've never really noticed, but throughout my entire life I've been a Camaro addict. Sure, I've built the little model Camaro's in every generation body style Chevrolet has ever released, but hell, who hasn't, right??

I never really acted particularly obsessed with Camaros, but I guess it all started when I was about 17 (I'm 35 now), I saved up for my first car in 1992, it was a used, white 1989 Camaro RS with T-tops. Pretty cool car, I had lots of fun with it, but eventually traded it in for something more practical. Then in 2000, I decided I didn't want practical anymore, so I traded practical in for a 'sorta' brand new 2000 Camaro RS. Again, great car, had lots of fun with it, but eventually (foolishly) traded it away for some less cool 4x4 SUV (cut me a little slack here, I lived in Utah at the time ).

Fast forward to the present. I thought I was completely over whatever strange gravitational pull I seemed to have toward the Camaro. In the decade that spanned, I had Mustang GT's, Nissan Z's, Eclipse GS-T's, etc. (que Poison guitar solo here) but all of them just left a strange emptiness deep within my heart. 10 years had past at this point, something just wasn't right in my life...

So, two weeks ago I'm driving by a Chevy dealership, one particular car caught my eye like no other car had in recent past. It was the 6.2 liter V-8 426 Hp 2011 Camaro SS, white with orange racing stripes. Same paint scheme that I had painted so many of my 1/25 scale Revell car models as a kid ('69 in particular comes to mind). The car was so breathtaking to me, I stopped in my tracks, made a u-turn right there, and drove into the dealership. I wanted to see if I could con a salesman into letting me take it out for a test drive (haha). Well, I don't know who did what conning, but several hours later, I walked out of the dealership with a shiny new (18 miles on it) 2011 Camaro SS.

I love this car. I love how it is so scary fast I can barely contain the sick sick power. I know now that In this crazy mixed up universe, Camaro and I are destined together forever! (LOL away guys, also don't let my wife read that last sentence. )

Anywho's, here are a few images of my newest obsession. Take a look, let me know what ya'll think!

Just got to take it one day at a time. Its ok to feed this addiction as long as you don't loose the wife and the kids in the process. Well atleast not the kids anyway. You know a 69 with matching paint would look right at home next to that 5th gen
