Hi there, I live in Cape Town, South Africa - I registered a few days ago but didn't say hello.

My new ride is a 1973 T-Top with a 406, Turbo 350 and Side Pipes. Runs very well.

Just yesterday I took it to our roadworthy test centre which is only 2 miles from home. Before I could get there, the cops pulled me over and insisted on checking that everything worked. So I had two inspections within an hour - passed both!

 

that is so thoughtful of the police to give you a free inspection like that!!!

I bought the car a few weeks ago from someone who had it for five years and who knows who owned it before then.

Here in South Africa we have a few Ist and 2nd generations running around but about a 10yrs ago our government banned further left had drive imports - pity!

I use to have a '73 Stingray and an '87 Vette, sold them, emmigrated to New Jersey, got divorced there and now I'm back to stay.

I love Mussle Machines because they make BMW's look stupid.
